For a quick brekkie, I tried the flax seed muffin from Cafe O since it seemed to be the healthiest muffin available from their display counter.
I know flax seed is supposed to be healthy, but I think I heard that it needs to be ground into powder to be absorbed by our bodies… The muffin seemed to only contain the whole seeds so not quite sure if it really helped my body or not?
Taste-wise, it was pretty alright! Grainy, chock full with shredded carrot and apple chunks, and a bit of cinnamon spice for sweetness. Not bad for HK$20.
