
Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yoga & Singing Bowl Workshop with Balance Health
The workshop will start with a 5-Elemental Meridian Exercise which is a self-healing discipline designed to unclog blockages in our meridians and promote Qi (life energy). The exercise will involve meridians stretching, acupressure, and singing bowl meditation which aim at bringing about a healthy body and soul. This exercise is also beneficial for the torso, joints, and helps with digestion, stress, anxiety, and focus.
The workshop will be followed by a Hatha yoga class. Hatha yoga uses asanas, breath, and meditation to achieve better health. There are over eight documented Hatha yoga postures, with a number of variations to promote balance of the mind and body. Postures are generally held longer, to promote strength, and can help to improve posture and promote circulation in organs, glands, and muscles tissues.
