By now, you must have all heard about Live Zero, Hong Kong’s first zero-waste grocery store. Well, now they’ve added to the awesomeness with Live Zero Bulk Beauty – a one-stop shop for all your eco-beauty needs, just a few doors down from their grocery store in Sai Ying Pun (it’s actually in the original shop that Live Zero started in).
This place is a mecca for beauty lovers and really does have just about everything you can think for cleaning up your make-up and skincare game. They’ve got the raw ingredients for you to create your own beauty products, including facial oils, essential oils, butters, clays, powders, waxes and Epsom salt – all available in bulk (simply fill your own container with the amount you require). They even stock biodegradable, eco-friendly, plastic-free glitter to add some sparkle to your make-up.
Live Zero Bulk Beauty also stock a wide variety of plastic-free, eco-friendly beauty brands – including natural deodorants from local favourites Coconut Matter and Zero Yet 100, cruelty-free vegan make-up line Elate Cosmetics (who use refillable bamboo packaging), vegan nail polish from Habit Cosmetics, non-toxic sunscreen by Avasol, hand-crafted shampoo and soap bars by Ethique and Einnoc, and refillable liquid shampoo and body wash from homegrown range Bathe To Basics.
If that wasn’t enough, there are also all the other eco bits and bobs you need to greenify your beauty kit – like bamboo toothbrushes, reusable face cloths, metal safety razors, fabric hair ties, menstrual cups, glass jars and vials, and far far too much more to mention here!
You can see a pretty extensive list of everything stocked at Live Zero Bulk Beauty here – but honestly, I’d recommend just popping down and having a browse for yourself, as it really is a haven for any eco-conscious beauty junkie. Happy shopping!
