It’s a match made in moo-friendly heaven: Moxie and Mother Pearl have joined forces to launch a dairy-free afternoon tea! Available from now until 31 July 2023, the tea set includes three savoury bites and four sweet pastries made from seasonal and sustainable ingredients – plus two drinks from Mother Pearl.

“With this Afternoon Tea set, we’d like to showcase how vegan flavours can be rich, and robust and perfectly complement the Asian tea flavours from Mother Pearl,” shares Michael Smith, Moxie’s Chef de Cuisine.

Savouries include the Jackfruit Larb, Buckwheat Falafel, and a crisp Tartelette of Japanese Fruit Tomato with eggplant fondue, while the sweets include a Matcha Pavlova with boba and passionfruit; a Chamomile Mille-Feuille with strawberry and basil; Milk Tea Cake with date syrup and boba and dairy-free Lamington cake with plum gel.

On the drinks side, choose from Mother Pearl’s speciality drinks which include the Yuen Yeung 2.0, unique blend of coffee, tea, molasses, and tea jelly; the Very Choco-latte made with vegan chocolate syrup and includes boba tapioca balls; and the Matcha-cha served with red bean and matcha boba tapioca balls. 

The Moxie x Mother Pearl’s Afternoon Tea is priced at HK$488 for two (plus 10 percent service charge) and includes one drink per person. Served daily from 3-5PM, book your tea set here!
