Barre Formula x Sweaty Betty | Pilates for Runners
Did you get in the HK Marathon in February 2023? Is it your first 10k or half/full marathon? Have you ever run on the road before?
Deborah, our Sweaty Betty Ambassador, an aerial and pilates instructor. Running is her biggest passion, focus on safety and happiness rather than speed. 15 years ago she started running on short tracks, then along roads in Hong Kong. Her passion leads her to run international races in Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, UK, Canada, Guam and Hong Kong. Pilates helps her to strengthen core muscles, build endurance and improve stability.
In this 90 minutes workshop, we will start with running warm up, pilates and followed by myofascial release exercises (which helps to massage off overactive soft tissue to reduce inflammation in the tight muscles). What’s more? Deborah will share some tips to make you run happily. Suitable for beginners or treadmill babes (no road running experience). Experienced runners are also welcome to join and share your tips with others!
