Using Aromatherapy Associates’ Forest Therapy essential oil, the treatment is perfect for anyone experiencing stress in Hong Kong (who isn’t?) and looking to reconnect with nature.

The “long and slow” body massage treatment starts with guided breathing, followed by a massage with hot basalt (volcanic) stones and an all-over application of river lake mud and Kaolin clay to soften and nourish the skin.

Expect notes of cypress, ho wood and pink pepper in the nature-inspired essential oil, which is a combination of 22 essential oils developed in consultation with forest therapy experts.

The 60-minute Forest Therapy treatment is priced at HK$1,400 from Monday to Thursday and HK$1,500 on Friday to Sunday and public holidays.
