Good sandwiches are hard to find in Hong Kong, but this one comes pretty close. Packed with thick chunks of avocado, tomato, lettuce, cucumber, roasted pumpkin and topped with cheddar cheese and some mayo (oops, that’s not very healthy), this stacked sandwich at Peace Square is served with two hot slices of whole wheat toast that are crispy yet soft.
At HK$55, it’s kind of overpriced but if you’re lucky, it might just come as one of the daily sandwiches for Peace Square’s tea set (HK$65 including a coffee or tea).
