I last visited La Brezza in Tai Hang for their salmon salad over two years ago and recently returned to try their set dinner. Given that this was a place known for their pastas, I really wasn’t sure what I could get (now that I’m on my low-carb phase again…yes, AGAIN).

Luckily, one of the options for their set menus for dinner is “Fish of the Day”, which was salmon that day. For approx. HK$228, you get a full-sized salad with a tangy citrusy dressing, spherical bowl of pumpkin soup, and a thick chunk of salmon over some veggies and potatoes (I asked them for no potato).

The salmon was well done (so ask for rare if you like it more raw) and topped with a creamy white sauce but overall, it was pretty tasty and quite a good deal. The set dinner also comes with a cup of tea or coffee, or a coffee drink (like a “cuppucino” for an extra HK$5).
