Now that Hong Kong has relaxed some of its dining restrictions amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s time to enjoy some of the city’s best healthy eats. If you’re looking for some light, nutritious and healthy options for dining out this month, we’ve put together a few tasty ideas below:

Vegan tapas at 2084

Previously known as Casa, in the tight-knit Sai Kung neighbourhood, the restaurant rebranded with a completely new concept: vegan dining. There aren’t many fully plant-based restaurants in Hong Kong, so the highly-anticipated opening of this restaurant led to immediate favourites on the menu, including the Peking Mushroom Tacos and the curries on the menu. Try some of the delightful tapas options at this al-fresco dining space—plus, it’s 100% vegan.

Roganic’s summer menu

British Chef Simon Rogan’s Roganic curates its menus based on healthy concepts and sustainable sourcing. Executive Chef Oli Marlow has just introduced a new lunch menu and two tasting menus, which use Hong Kong ingredients from nearby farms to highlight the season’s best produce. Try the Michelin-starred restaurant’s new bites to leap into summer with a healthy, hungry appetite. Vegetarian options are also available.

FAMA’s Market at SOHOFAMA

Urban farming meets Cantonese comfort food at SOHOFAMA, a restaurant that promotes healthy living by sourcing local produce wherever possible and incorporating fresh, tasty ingredients. Support them by joining their new FAMA’s Market events in collaboration with local farmer markets. Simply spend over HK$200 at Sohofama to get two HK$30 vouchers to use at the market.

Treehouse at BaseHall

BaseHall opens in June 2020, a new dining food hall featuring some of Hong Kong’s favourite premium food vendors, including Honbo and Yardbird. For the healthy goers, TREEHOUSE is opening up at this location, with plant-based, eco eats including their famed sourdough burgers and wraps plus grain and salad bowls to indulge in.
