Kowloonites, get ready to plie, squat, shake and sculpt your bodies because there’s a brand new barre studio in town!
Barre Formula soft opened in Tsim Sha Tsui today and will be celebrating their grand opening on September 2nd. The studio is co-founded by two longtime friends and ex-colleagues, Alice Siu and Jacqueline Wong, who have a combined 25 years of yoga and dance experience.
You may have seen Alice teaching at Yoga Aloha, Andiappan Yoga Community or Chimaga, or Jacqueline teaching at Barre 2 Barre—both ladies also teach yoga privately.
Classes
At Barre Formula, they teach their own method of barre that’s based off Barre Body Australia, which is what Jacqueline used to do back when she lived in Melbourne.
Classes offered at Barre Formula include barre (fundamentals), barre active (in bootcamp and vinyasa flow styles) and barre relax (for a good stretch).
They even have a yogarre class, which is a mix of yoga and barre, as its name suggests.
“Barre check all the boxes and it covers full body with a blend of dance, pilates and cardio.” – Jacqueline

If you’d like to try their classes, Barre Formula has a soft-launch special of HK$88 per class from now till Aug 31. And don’t forget to register for their grand opening on Sunday, Sept 2, 2018 at 11am!
